Due to previous post's comment left by Audrey (love you Audrey!) and a conversation with my mother, I suppose that some babies can be born full term and only weigh 5 lbs. Also, perhaps Giada was having health problems that caused the doctor to be willing to take the baby early. Maybe she also just has small babies.

Regardless, I am going to let this go. It doesn't matter if celebrities (even celebrity chefs) don't live in the real world. I've known this all along. I don't know why I expected this situation to be reality.
